Allana Ferguson bio

Allana was picked to represent Australia during the Rugby Sevens 2013, but the knee injury that followed kept her on the sidelines. It took several years to Allana to return back into playing in the league. Allana had a great time in the team of New South Wales during her first women's Rugby League game against Queensland, which she played in 2015. Allana is also a regular radio personality, appearing regularly with 2GB's Continuous Call Team. Allana has a lot to offer, not just a professional athlete and a teacher, but has also earned a a degree in education, has an extensive background beyond sports. Allana Ferguson has the unique accomplishment of playing for Australia in three different sports including rugby sevens (rugby league), touch and rugby union. Allana Ferguson, a Jillaroos player who played in an extensive period of rugby league but had to stop her career early after she tore her ACL for the fourth time. Ferguson aged 25 already, had tears in the same ligament in her teens, 17 and 20, when she was 17. A fourth tear indicated her time was done. Ferguson, JILLAROOS's playmaker was forced to step down early because of a fourth accident to her left ACL. Ferguson, the JILLAROOS' player, confirmed that news via The Courier Mail this week after suffering a niggle during training in November.
